Geez! This could be named “The Deadly Episode 4 of Haechi.” This episode is very dramatic and sad as three of secondary characters die! I was so surprised by this! I expected only one of those deaths… that of the young prince… but the rest…how! What?!!! No!!! Besides the body count what happens is, that Prince Lee Geum, pulls back on his witness statement, as Lord Min Jin threatens to kill his brother if he doesn’t. Then we see a very drunk Lee Geum, followed by a deeply saddened one… as he loses two beloved family members.

Ratings? Doing well!!! According to Wikipedia:

I have to say that Jung Il-woo had an amazing performance in this episode. He totally killed it in this episode! (Meaning he did a great job!) . I think the scene with his brother dying, has to be one of the best I’ve seen him cry in, if not the best. It felt so real… the second one? I think when his character Yi-soo says goodbye to Yi-kyung in 49 days because he has to go back to the world of the dead… that scene made my cry and cry! Here I didn’t, but it was just because I did not feel that much for that younger brother character…
This brings me to my next observation, weren’t those deaths too fast? Aren’t they going too fast in this plot? If we would have gotten to know the characters more we would have felt more… but maybe these are too secondary and who knows what’s in store for us next…
