This Episode aired February 12. Spoiler Alert!
If you missed or are confused about Haechi, read THIS post. I did a bit of research about all those crown princes because I was confused.
In this episode I felt more familiar with the plot and characters so I enjoyed it even more. Did you? One thing that I love about Jung Il-woo’s character in this series is that he is a mix of various of Jung Il-woo’s characters. He is like Yoon-ho from High Kick when he beats up Mil Pung-kun! Love it! He is sarcastic like the scheduler and full of heart like Prince Yang. And..he has Cha Chi-soo’s wink! What a perfect character for Jung Il-woo! You can tell he is having fun with him!
This episode a nut shell: when Lee Geum took that Civil Exam for No Tae Pyeong 52, he became the one source that can prove that Yi Tan Mil Pung-kun killed not only No Tae Pyeong as they found the body, but also his daughter which makes him unfit for the throne. Aside from this, I think the most important thing that happened to the character of Jung Il-woo, Crown Prince Lee Geum is that his father King Sukjong told him he was dying soon and to show him and the world his better side. He was very moved by this and you can see in the end he refuses to drink alcohol and chooses to appear in the hearing (last scene).
