Jung II-woo posted so many great photos at this time.  I thought I should post them beyond “In his words.”  They really tell the story of Jung II-woo’s life… practicing his lines, eating, enjoying treats from fans, posing for photos, enjoying time with his co-stars and his time with his doggie A-woo.  So delight in these beautiful posted by Jung II-woo in Tweeter and Weibo.  I can’t wait for the time he posts lots and lots again!  And I really wish for his fans to be respectful of what ever he chooses to post…

‘Golden Rainbow’ Jung Il-woo interview, “Now I want to be a qualified actor”     2014.02.04

A man with a purebred look at only one woman. Is not it nice to think? After a month and a half, Jung Il-woo returned to the CRT. If you recall the cold and intellectual charisma of the ‘Sun with the Sun’, it is Osan. Already, he has been setting his own character by going beyond his past works. Seo Do – young in MBC ‘Golden Rainbow’ is an innocent person who is not believed to be a prosecutor and has a free – spiritedness, and a poet who sees only one woman. Although the clear tags that stipulate the character such as lolari inspection, powerful kiss, and motorcycle driving are attached to the line, Jung Ilwoo is widening its acting area by manhood after taking off his hands for the person who loves. On the 25th of last month, I met Jeong Ilwoo at the ‘Golden Rainbow’ filming site and shared a genuine interview.

The ‘Golden Rainbow’ shows amazing growth. What kind of effort did you make?
Before I started working, I saw Tom Cruise’s “Good Fit Man” and I also saw a lot of lawyers and inspection related works. (Movies and dramas), but in any case it was important to visit my own color. I tried to make a difference from the existing tests. ‘(Inspector) looks a little out of the way,’ but there is also (my) Seo Dooyoung is a friend who is so freely, I wanted to show a different look than the previous inspection, from appearance to head, such as costumes and hair. It will be done gradually to the second half. I think you will see another aspect of Seo Do Young in the latter half.

Through MBC ‘Golden Rainbow’ I met my first younger partner ‘Uee’. Is it comfortable?
It’s too comfortable. I am going to take care of a lot from my brother, but I do not have enough. (Laughter) We are constantly trying. I have a lot of conversations with Uee and I tend to get together. We are so friendly with Lee, Jae Yoon, who plays together, and the atmosphere of the filming is comfortable and fun.

He was a freelance actor and played a part in the inspection of the rebellious temperament. I wonder if Seo Do Young is similar in real personality to you.
My actual personality is a little quiet and introspective. There are not many words. So when you have a lot of dialogue in the drama is too hard. (Laughter) I might actually be in a similar position with Seo Do Young, but when I was immersed in my role, I did not know, ‘What about my personality?’ And ‘How was I before?’ I live in Seo Do Young now for 24 hours.

How about a real romance?
I heard a lot of words that I was trying to do my best. I do not know even the bad guy, but he seems to be insensitive. (Laughter) My father is at home. He is unconditionally a loving father to his children, but he is blunt when he looks at his mother. (Laughter) It seems like I have a lot of personality in my father. I can not help it because I am a son.

Could you mention memorable scenes in ‘Golden Rainbow’.
The I remember being in court. It was the first time I acted in a court. Of course, it was a strange experience to talk to the court, though it was set. It was very strange. So I started practicing from where I came from an hour before going into shooting and there was no setting.

The scenes I shot with Jo Min-ki are almost memorable. You can do a lot of guidance though, but if you join with your seniors, my acting will come out well. The scene of skating with UEE, the kissing remains in my memory (laughs) There are still a lot of shots still to be memorized.

The surrounding staffs and drama officials praised “Jeong Il-woo is an actor who has a lot of colors and a greedy actor as the film is repeated”. Is there a lot of greed in real life?
It is all that is shown in the work of learning. It seemed that when I walked through the blank space, I was able to see how much I had grown during my break. I do not have a very large number of works, and I go through blank spaces every two years. There are fans who waited for the work, and the moment of the work is also greedy in oneself. Rather, I say “sleep and ease” in the office. I think it is natural to do my best when I get into my work.

After the “Year of the Sun”, I had a blank space for a year and a half. What did you do during your break?
I graduated in February and went to school hard during the break. In fact, there were more overseas events in the same year last year. Fan meetings, and overseas events, it was a great time to meet foreign fans.

From skiing to hand diving, my hobbies are really diverse.
At that time, my hobbies are different. Skiing is hurt, so you will not go to work. I like coffee so much and I drink it whenever I have time. I hand out the staff, I drink (laughs) and when I get out of the house, I take the coffee and bring it out. There is a paper cup at home. I like to give coffee to people around me. In fact, I have a hobby of collecting plates and coffee cups these days. (laugh)

It is a little surprising that you collected a cup of coffee.
I like cute things. Of course, I like sports and I like skiing, but now I see some static stuff. It is not until the interior, but my room is interiors and collects coffee cups, and I do so calmly these days. (laugh)

In 2006, she announced her name as ‘Quiet World’ and ‘High Kick without a hitch.’ It has already debuted eight years. There was no slump during that time.
There were many. (Laughter) The slump seems to come once or twice a year. It comes when I work, and it comes even after the work is finished. I am worried about what to do next. I am feeling a little upset. I was used to it now, but in the early 20s, things were hard and I was in a hurry. Now I can afford a little bit.

How did you overcome the slump?
When the slump came, it was no use meeting the people around and talking to them, or telling their troubles. I read books at home and take a dive. Traveling.

Do you usually read a lot of books?
I like a novel book. I read a lot before I started the drama, but I enjoy reading Japanese authors books. I read the “secret” of Higashinogei in a fun way. Asada Jiro’s “Emperor of the Shrine” remembers. I like the novel with sadness or fantasy. Reading books makes me cry, and I am sensitive. (laugh)

What if you have a sense of value as an actor who has not changed for eight years this year.
Never be late on the film. It seems to be the actor who keeps the basic well. It was the hardest to keep the basics well. It is an iron rule to do your best while acting and not late in the filming. I hope the mind never changes.

27 years old this year. Now the twenties are about to leave. What if I have a goal?
Before going to the army, I want to find my own color with various works. I want to be able to hear the story of “I can do this only Jung Il-woo” when I take on the work. I want to leave one such work. That is the goal. I want to be a ‘qualified actor’ while I’m living an actor. In fact, I am gratefully acknowledged that there are many masterpieces, such as “High Kick” and “Harmful Month”. When I remember my masterpiece, it would be nice if the actress named Jung Ilwoo was remembered first. Also, when I think about the character, I can not hope for anymore if I can hear the story “This is really good”.

The fans ask themselves! “Mr. Ilwoo, I have an answer.”

My ideal type changed every time. What is your ideal type of Jung Ilwoo?
In the early 20s, I changed a lot of my favorite characters (laughs). I want to meet a woman who can understand me well and who can do all of my wisely, who can act wisely in relationships. Now that I am not young, I have become more serious to meet reason. In fact, it seems like ‘It is not easy to meet more and more people’. I am sure that Bum or Minho who is really friendly is going to see once or twice a year. Those who are not will be hard to see.

You are popular in Japan, China and other overseas countries. What is the secret of popularity?
Japanese fans say, “It’s a pretty smile.” And my eyes are clear and look sad. There are a lot of people who became fans when I saw smoke in my eyes. There are many fans especially among the fans. I have been fans for almost 8 years since I took high kicks. I am proud to have been with my fans for a long time. I work hard to give back to such fans. We also prepare an event. (laugh)

The event which sent 300 hand letters to fans collected a topic. How did you think that?
I answered “hand letter” to the question “What was the best gift I received from my fans?” Because your hand letter is so close to your heart. I decided to write a letter to that. I wrote about a week, but my hand was paralyzed. Now, let’s consider other events besides hand letter. (laugh)

When are you planning to meet your fans?
I will meet after work. I will have a fan meeting in Korea and fan meetings overseas in China, Japan and Taiwan. I do not have an exact date yet, but I would like to give my best to the fans who cheered me after this work.

I wonder when it ‘s happiest while acting.
It is the happiest time to work. If my character is loved, I would like to be happy as much as that. And when my heart and sincerity are delivered to viewers through acting, I think it is good to postpone.

What kind of kiss god do you remember most?
It seems to me that the feelings of sadness have remained longer than the bright and pleasant atmosphere. In SBS drama ’49 days, ‘the most part that I kissed while leaving my sister Lee is I remember.

What is the secret of a powerful kiss god in the ‘Golden Rainbow’?
I feel that kissing depends on my feelings (laughs). In the future, ‘Golden Rainbow’ comes a kissing god. This time, I will smooth it. The writer also wrote it like that. Let me be gentle.

Do you have any greetings in performing arts or talk shows?
I want to go to the performing arts. I want to go out because I am a big fan of ‘Infinite Challenge’. In fact, I have had two appearances on the Infinite Challenge thanks to Jung Jun-ha, who came out as a dad when I was doing ‘High Kick’. In recent years, Hong Cheol Lee, Gil-hyeong, and Hae-jung-hyeong have been doing the same exercise with each other.

Fashionist Jeong Ilwoo, what style do you usually enjoy?
Basically I like to wear simple. It seems to me that my style of body fit well. There are some trends, but in fact they do not go too far. I like clothes that are as normal as possible and fit my body.

Finally, please ask the audience who love ‘Golden Rainbow’.
