Well, the Boson Marathoners would have certainly used some of this cold weather gear yesterday…if it wasn’t that heavy! It rained/slushed most of the day…at times it was really hard… can you imagine that cold rain/slush hitting you in the face for hours? I am in awe…
So the winners for this year were not the usual athletes from Kenya or Ethiopia. My guess is that they are not used to the cold. A Japanese won the man’s race and an American, first one since 1985 won in the woman’s. Bravo champions! I admire you because I didn’t even want to walk to the gym in that weather! (And I didn’t!) 🙂
