This Episode aired March 12. Spoiler Alert!
In this episode Jung Il-woo is arrested by the Saheonbu, only to then be transferred to the “Department of Justice” that is under the king’s authority. As he is arrested he hugs Yeo Ji to every one’s discomfort, and whispers in her ear that the killer was a girl and that she had the tattoo of “Murder the Master.” This was the symbol of a previously known group of slaves that killed their masters and had been wiped out. But now it seemed they were making a comeback, only that this time they were using children.
Crown Prince Lee Geum, runs into the “assassin” girl in the palace and asks her why she had done what she had done. She answered that because the rent of the farm was too high, her dad could not pay it and so first her sister was sold to the Qing (Chinese) and then she had run away when she was about to suffer the same fate. Then she had become part of the group “Murder the Master” as other parentless children. Lee Geum lets her go and says he will try to help her.
Crown Prince Lee Geum tells the truth to the king and because of a strike by the Saheonbu, gives him three days to find out why the girl had done what she had done. He and his supporters try hard getting as much evidence as possible. The episode ends when Lord Min Jin-heon walks int to the supreme court (Lee Geum’s trial) with the “assassin” girl in tow while Lee Geum’s is left gawping.
