September 13, 2015 …WOO hoo! 13!
Jung Il-woo travelled to Japan for another Fan Meet. This time for a Barbecue with 500 fans! It was held in a camping ground. He prepared his grandmother’s recipe of the traditional seaweed soup Koreans eat for their birthdays. He also prepared traditional sweets “약밥” (yak bap) He also mingled with the fans and took photos.
Wondering what Yaksik or yakbap is? I did, so here is what I found out: It is a sweet Korean dish made by steaming glutinous rice, and mixing with chestnuts, jujubes, and pine nuts. It is seasoned with honey or brown sugar, sesame oil, soy sauce, and sometimes cinnamon.
This is a photo Jung Il-woo posted what may have inspired him?:

Would you look at that heart! WOO-w! I really want to try to make these! They look good! Jung Il-woo Ssi! Won’t you teach us to make these!?
Well now let’s go to the barbacue… right before it started, someone was picking… taking the scene in:

These come from his Japanese 10th Anniversary Thank You Book:
This one coming up is from Smilwoo. I think they asked the fans to try making the seaweed soup at home and send in their photos as a Thank you to Il-woo, and gave it to him:
And these are his airport departure to Japan. During this trip, of what I understood, his manager left his passport somewhere and he actually leaves Jung Il-woo to go find it. Jung Il-woo then spends a few minutes nerve wracking minutes alone with fans and press taking video and photos of him. He was a good sport as always but he looks nervous… poor guy!
These are the videos. Cr. On them.
