Ilwoo’s Rose Pasta (Pasta with Vodka sauce)


This Recipe came via Jung Ilwoo’s YouTube Channel.  He Surprised fans with a Live Streaming that took place on December 26th, 2020.  Not me… I was sleeping. 🙁


Rigatoni pasta, garlic , shallot, onion, beech mushroom, salt, heavy cream, tomato paste, whole tomato, olive oil, vodka, Italian parsley, truffle oil, Parmesan cheese

How to:

1. When water boils, put in a lot of salt enough to almost taste like ocean water, and cook Rigatoni pasta for 12 minutes.

2. Stir-fry onions, garlic, olive oil together, and when onion turns brown, put in beech mushrooms.

3. Put in tomato paste into stir-fried veggies.

4. Throw (he means pour in! ^ ^) in about 30ml of vodka.

5. Put in smashed whole tomatoes with heavy cream. (It’s better to have heavy cream in a room temperature and if it’s too cold, mix a little bit of noodle broth)

6. Get the noodles out of a pot and stir well with the sauce and noodle broth. (You need to season the pasta with this noodle broth)

7. Plate your pasta with chopped Italian parsley.

8. Put grated Parmesan cheese on top.

9. Finish the dish with a little drizzle of truffle oil!

I tried the recipe… it’s very easy and delicious!  The Vodka gives it a sweet touch.

I bought truffle oil… i didn’t even know there were so many kinds of oils!  I always went straight to olive oil!
