Hello! Happy Weekend!
November 6th, 2014 – November 6th, 2015
We’ll start with two events that happened at the end of 2014. The first was his creation of the a video that promoted his calendar of 2015 and was also used in his fan meeting… the concept and images are so beautiful… here it is:
Never ever get tired of looking at him in this… here are some screen captures and some photos from this photo shoot:
The photos:
On the second to last day of 2014, Jung Il woo won the “Top Excellence Award, Actor in a Special Project Drama.” His reaction is priceless… he is so nervous! Oh this, oh that… oh! my!!! Well deserved Jung Il-woo, you carried that character and the drama all the way through! (Journal of the Night Watchmen).
Photos: Cr. On them!
I finally know where these photos come from… entering the red carpet area? He looks so sexy in this walk:
So glad for him… I believe he will go on to win many more!
During 2015 Jung Il woo worked in a movie and two dramas. Let’s start with the movie, “The Rise of a Tomboy” filmed in China with Chinese co-stars was about a Tomboy developing a “Love Formula.” In the end she discovers that true love is discovered by listening to the person’s hearbeat.
Jung Il woo plays the CEO of a company who takes on her project and ends up falling in love with her. Jung Il woo sang one of the songs of the OST of this movie. It is called “Heartbeat”… here it is:
These are some really cute social media posts:
Notice the shirts on the posts above… that’s right! This is the year when Ilwoo designed graphics that were printed in shirts, sweatshirts and tote bags. Let’s delight in the beautiful photos and videos that promoted his work:
This next video shows him hard at work:
I will highlight only one of the two dramas… Beautiful Woman. (The other drama which is High End Crush aired on November 14, 2015! So that’s in year 10!)
The drama series Beautiful Drama / Beauty Dream was filmed in 2015, it was Jung Il-woo’s first Chinese drama for A TV Channel (not web series) after he signed with Yuehua Entertainment (a Chinese Entertainment Company). Sadly, because of China’s boycott of Korean Entertainment and Products, this drama has yet to air. I hope it airs someday… it’s by Hunan TV.
“Dong Yi, the eldest of three sisters, leads one of China‘s largest catering groups but her family’s past and her romantic entanglement with a Korean man who comes to Beijing in search for answers, threatens to break everything she has built.”
Jung Il-woo has the role of a South Korean food critic Jin Wenhao.
This is a video we recently got to enjoy thanks to the discovery of peiting_chen and the posting of Neo Meng in Vimeo. It has a lot of highlights with Jung Il woo throughout the series:
Here are some of the images used to promote the drama and Ilwoo in the Press Conference:
