Where to buy it you ask? No idea! Tried finding a place, but I only found THIS and THIS in Korean. Well here is a spread of the magazine found at the first site. As I found more I will post more…
My Edits… here they are… along with the photos I used as transparencies:
My beloved Venezuela… When will I walk your beautiful beaches again?
This is probably the most paradisiacal place I have ever been to on Earth. The Archipelago Los Roques is in front of Venezuela’s main land. It is a National Park and the biggest in the Caribbean. The biggest island called Gran Roque only had 4 cars when I went! Two of them trucks. People walked everywhere or used boats. Even though there are over 40 mini islands, only 3 were allowed for visits as you need permit for the rest. There were very few people so once you get on a boat to visit one of little islands, you and your companions can be the only ones in an entire beach… this happened to us! And let me tell you… it is absolutely gorgeous… almost 100% natural as very little development has reached it!
One of the parts that blew my mind (still does) is that I had a snorkel-fins set because we were going to go snorkeling later in the day with a guide. When I got into the water to cool off I saw some fish, so I decided to get the snorkel and have a peak. I got on my knees and peeked… it was unreal… it was like being in a huge coral reef, so much marine life! Hundreds of fish!!! Well, after that discovery I was rarely out of the water… with the water was waist high the most I floated and sometimes kneeled just in absolute awe! My mom kept joking I had become a fish.
I found the following video… and it made me cry… because that is how I remember it… it was simply perfect! I was so blessed to have visited with my family… one of my best memories… no beach can even begin to compare! I wish to go there once more before this body perishes… I pray!
