Jung Il-woo in Haechi Episode 11 (21, 22)

This episode was very touching. Jung Il-woo goodness touching! It starts when our dear Crown Prince is in his trial and the girl who killed the aristocrat, is brought in. Lee Geum is so disconcerted, he just can’t believe they got her, as he tried to hide and protect her. He continues to protect her as he even takes off his royal robe and puts it on her. The faces of the magistrates? is that of utterly astonishment… what are you doing?!

Then comes a really sad part as the officers of the Saheonbu go to find the rest of the master killer children and beat them up! Mun-su tries to protect a girl and ends up getting beat up severely. Then as if this is not sad enough we get to see the Crown Prince shamed as he has to walk from the Saheonbu Trial Room, to the headquarters of the Capital Bureau (as they are investigating jointly). As he walks through the town, he has to listen to down putting comments. However the worst for him was watching Mun-Su all beaten up and made to kneel to come down.

While he is at a cel in the Capital Bureau, he is visited by no other than the King himself, and he tells Lee Geum, that he will bear the responsibility and that he must go on with his royal duties as Crown Prince. So then we see Crown Prince Lee Geum, attend an aristocrat celebration and give one of the most eloquent speeches. He talks about the Master Killer Children and how they are the result of the behaviors of high taxing from the aristocrats to the farmers. It was so moving and he the way they filmed him with the the light behind him made him look like an angel!

The last part of the episode is pure delight as the lowly town people put their ID batches in huge piles in support of the Crown Prince! To not dethrone him! One part I loved here is that even the women who had no ID batches, wrote their names in rocks and put them there too. Yes! Then the icing on the cake comes when Yeo Ji is trying to get Prince Lee Geum to accept her as his servant, and he almost kisses her to show what she would have to do if she became his servant. It was a very slow almost kiss… how they tease us!!!

Sigh! I think we’ll have to wait a bit more for that kiss. Darn…! I’m so ready! 🙂
