December 31, 2018.
This is my last post for 2018. And… the last post about 2015 for now! There is a part of me that is always very excited about a new year of possibilities, but I also feel a bit sad about the year that has ended, especially when it was a good year. Yet that sadness is always filled with thankfulness.
With the creation of this website and all its linked social media accounts, I set out to support Jung Il-woo while he was fulfilling his country’s military duty. I wanted fans that knew him to not forget about him and for new fans to get to know him. I wanted to fill the ‘hole’ of a complete Jung Il-woo website written in English, so when people searched for things about him in English, there would be something originally written in that language easy to read, well researched and organized. Complete.
With many thanks for your support, this site has almost 33,600 views this year! That’s up 5 times from around 7,500 in the previous year! Imagine that! WOOw! But there is still a lot to do, for one thing complete the years 2016, 2017 and 2018. It is my goal to finish them this coming year as I also publish about his current activities for 2019. At the beginning I felt a bit overwhelmed covering past and present when he was back on November 30, but I now know I have adapted to alternating between the past and the present. I will probably continue to do this even after I complete all the year events from the past. I never get tired of Yoon-ho, Cha Chi-soo, Prince Yang… our dear Il-woo in his younger years!
To celebrate, tomorrow look for a very special post for the New Year’s! but for today, our last day of 2018… here is his last Starcast article from 2015 when he was designing his 2016 10th year Anniversary Calendar. For it, he recreated the roles he had on his dramas wearing outfits and hairstyles that reminded us of the Il-woo from those days. Did you know that for this calendar he ate cheese twists like the ones he ate in the movie “My Love” for one of the photos. A very noble effort that paid off in an amazing calendar.
And by today many of us will be receiving his current 2019 calendar! What a a great day to get it! SO…
CHEERS dear Il-woo sisters and brothers and may life gift us many more delights by Jung Il-woo!
All the best to all this coming 2019!
Jung Il-woo… much health and success to you always!

Yes, that’s good!! Turn the head slightly.
You must have got the idea where it is. Yes! That’s right. It’s pictorial shooting site. #No editing=perfect
By the way.. However!?
What? A banana milk?
Do you remember? Cha Ji-soo at the Flower Boy Ramen Shop!?
Do you remember The Return of Iljimae? As I find the photo, he looks handsome for all the photos.jpg
You must got the idea of this pictorial, right?
thank you 10th!! Upcoming 2016 is actor Jung il woo’s 10th anniversary.
Teddy bear wearing uniform, plum flower, candle, ramen, gun, sword, etc. “I wanted to have time to share precious past works with fans”
Jung il woo decided to remind the works he has done so far with its representative props! Those photos will be made as a Season’s Greeting calendar for 2016!!
Then, let’s get into the shooting site!! and guess which wor he expressed as per photo!
Is there something inside? Um… I think I know what he would do next… Perhaps…
A finger heart then he shows embarrassed face. #Mum’s smile
Secretly.. At the late night, waving hair in the wind! Do you remember Iljimae showed lonely face on top of Hanok roof? #here is another lonely eyes
If we talk about Jung il woo, it’s Yoon-ho! Instead of high schooler Yoon-ho in 2007, il woo who got the name tag in 2015 was bit shy. But as soon as the shutter sounds, he changes #no wonder, it’s the skills accumulated for 10 years
He looks extraordinary with a bag.
Jung il woo prepared a traditional Korean overcoat to express Moon Embracing the Sun’s Yang Myeong.. He must have been tired!! I am wondering how he would look like in the picture…
Wait, that hairstyle is…
That’s right. Scheduler from drama 49 days appeared!! #I’m going to #watch #49 days again
The scheduler checking the photos meticulously.. Jung il woo #it reminds you of old days, right?
#Hi #this is twisted bread stick
“This twisted bread..!! I remember it” Jung il woo is excited at reminding old days!
In the movie ‘My Love’…
Heartwarming department senior Jiwoo and the very sweet twisted bread scene!
“Should I eat it after a long time?” It is known as he really ate the bread by saying why is it too delicious as soon as the shooting started.
High Kick!, My Love.. The Return of Iljimae.. My Fair Lady… 49 Days.. Flower Boy Ramen Shop.. Moon Embracing the Sun.. Golden Rainbow.. And The Night Watchman’s Journal.. Oh my dearest works!
Since it is the Season’s Greeting pictorial shooting looking backwards they talked about past days and reminded of old days. Please check all of the #high quality A cuts that I cannot reveal here at the calendar!
For the last, Jung il woo has sent a season’s greeting exclusively to the NAVER STARCAST readers only!! He says that there is a special reason for him to feel exciting about 2016.. Do you want to know? Check out from the video ^, <

I love the part when he dances here… it’s an image that stays with me. It makes me so happy! I have no idea why… maybe because it shows him being happy and enjoying his work?
This image from his calendar is to remember his role as Prince Lee Rin/Wolfgang in The Night Watchman’s Journal. He now holds another sword for his coming drama “Haechi.” Jung Il-woo, may your talent and charm swiftly win the hearts of many viewers!
